Arsenal's Alisher Usmanov bid $1.3bn to buy out Stan Kroenke - report

Arsene Wenger admits that Arsenal finishing in the top four is more important than his future. Arsenal minority owner Alisher Usmanov has made a bid of $1.3 billion to buy out majority shareholder Stan Kroenke, the Financial Times reported on Friday. The bid values Arsenal at $2bn. Kroenke, who controls Arsenal with a 67 percent stake, has yet to formally respond to the approach, but the Times reported that he also did not dismiss it out of hand. Usmanov, a Russian steel magnate, owns 30 percent of Arsenal and has often been critical of Kroenke, an American who also owns the Colorado Rapids of MLS as well as the Los Angeles Rams, Denver Nuggests and Colorado Avalanche....
