Chelsea Remain Keen On Juventus Midfielder Claudio Marchisio
Reports have emerged claiming that Juventus midfielder Claudio Marchisio remains on the radar of Chelsea boss Antonio Conte. Marchisio enjoyed great success with Conte at Juve during the latter's time in charge. La Repubblica reported that Conte is keen to bring Marchisio to Stamford Bridge, and that a big contract offer could tempt the Italian international. The 31-year-old suffered a cruciate ligament injury in April last year, forcing him to miss out on Euro 2016. He subsequently struggled to regain his place in the side, making just 17 starts in the season.
