Report: Carl Jenkinson on Liverpool's radar

Carl Jenkinson has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Liverpool, who see the Arsenal defender as an ideal replacement for Glen Johnson. The 23-year-old has impressed on loan at West Ham United this season, featuring in 25 of their Premier League games to build up his experience of playing at the highest level. Hammers boss Sam Allardyce is said to be keen on signing the England Under-21s international on a full-time basis, although he could now face competition from Liverpool.
