Real Madrid hold talks with Alexis Sanchez

With Alexis Sanchez entering the final year of his contract and available to sign on a Bosman transfer next summer, Real Madrid president Florentino Perez has identified the Chilean as his next prime target.

Despite being linked with Manchester City this past transfer window, Arsenal kept hold of their star man but would be powerless come 2018. Real Madrid are looking for a top forward and will look to sign Sanchez to make up a strike force with Cristiano Ronaldo and Karim Benzema.

Dani Carvajal signs a new deal

Real Madrid today revealed that right back, Dani Carvajal has agreed to sign an extension with the reigning Spanish champions. A new contract will see Carvajal being tied up with Los Blancos till 2022. A Real Madrid Castilla product, Carvajal rejoined the Bernabeu based side in 2013 after a spell with Bayer Leverkusen. Meanwhile, the right-back will appear at a press conference tomorrow.

Chelsea interested in Georginio Chiellini

Calciomercato has reported that the veteran Italian defender, Georginio Chiellini has yet to start talks with Juventus over a new deal with his current deal set to expire next season. This has led to the speculation about Chiellini wanting a way out of Turin.

Chelsea are long-term admirers of the defender with Antonio Conte and Chiellini going a long way back during the Chelsea manager's Juventus and Italy days.

Inter Milan eyeing Adrien Rabiot

The Nerazzurri are looking for reinforcements in midfield department next summer and have earmarked Adrien Rabiot of Paris Saint Germain as a potential target. Rabiot can be available for Inter at a cut-price deal if the midfielder decides against signing a new deal.

Inter Milan sporting director Walter Sabatini is a huge fan of Rabiot and Calciomercato claims that he tried to sign Rabiot for AS Roma during his days with the Roman club.

With reports linking the 21-year-old Red Bull Leipzig striker, Timo Werner to Real Madrid, Werner has confirmed today that he is happy to hear these rumours. AS has quoted Werner saying, "Of course it makes me happy to hear that clubs like Madrid are interested in me. I would be lying if I said it didn't interest me." Werner is being tipped as Real Madrid's long-term replacement for Karim Benzema.

Mark Uth may leave TSC Hoffenheim next summer

Hoffenheim striker, Mark Uth has sparked rumours of an exit from the German club after reportedly rejecting a contract extension with the club. Uth has just a year left on his current deal which is why the club had tabled a new deal for the 26-year-old.

Uth has been linked with Tottenham Hotspur in the past and will attract interest from a host of clubs after a good start to the current season. Uth has already scored against teams like Liverpool and Bayern Munich this season.

Dele Alli to sign a new deal with Tottenham Hotspur

The Sun understands that Spurs attacking midfielder, Dele Alli has opened talks with the club over signing a new contract. Alli had signed an extension just last year but with imminent interest from Manchester City and Real Madrid, Tottenham are eager to sign the youngster on a long-term deal.

The new improved deal will see Alli earn at par with club's highest earners like Harry Kane and Hugo Lloris.

Coutinho opens up on FC Barcelona interest

Philippe Coutinho was Barcelona's sole target for almost a month after selling Neymar Jr. but Liverpool's adamant approach of not selling the Brazilian won against repeated €100 million plus bids from the Catalans.

The playmaker has opened up on his failed transfer to Spain for the first time with ESPN Brasil as he said, "What happened was an offer of work. And in life, sometimes you’re interested, sometimes no. As everyone knows, I became interested, and my family too."

PSG planning a January exodus

In order to meet Financial Fair Play regulations, the Parisians need to get players off their wage books. According to Mundo Deportivo, PSG are looking to offload as many as five first-team stars in January.

The list includes big names like Julian Draxler, Angel Di Maria, Lucas Moura along with Kevin Trapp and Javier Pastore. Paris Saint Germain need to lower their salary cap after signing Neymar and Kylian Mbappe this past summer for a combined total of €400 million (Mbappe's €180 million fee is to be paid next summer).

Leicester City win battle to sign Adrien Silva

The Foxes missed out on signing Adrien Silva on deadline day after failing to submit the paperwork on time and missing the FIFA deadline by 14 seconds. This fiasco had left Silva in quite a limbo but according to the Daily Mirror, Leicester are now hoping for a positive ruling from the governing body.

A Danny Drinkwater replacement, Silva is expected to get the green light soon to join his new team members at the King Power Stadium. Leicester's lawyers have reached an agreement with FIFA which will see the Portuguese star being unveiled next week.
