Arsenal defender Sead Kolasinac says that working with manager Arsene Wenger is "fun", but admits that he was nervous before meeting the Gunners boss.

Arsenal defender Sead Kolasinac has suggested that it took a small amount of time before fully appreciating working with manager Arsene Wenger.

During the summer, Kolasinac left Schalke 04 to sign for Arsenal on a free transfer, and the left-sided defender has proved to be an instant hit at the Emirates Stadium.

The Bosnian international has revealed that he is enjoying working alongside Wenger, but has revealed that nerves threatened to kick in upon his arrival in North London.

The 24-year-old told the club's official website: "It is really a lot of fun to work alongside a manager like Arsene Wenger. He has been here ever since I can remember.

"At the start, maybe I was a bit nervous to work alongside him. The fact that he speaks German really helps me – it made it a lot easier again for me to settle in here. He is good to work with."

Kolasinac has started in six of Arsenal's seven Premier League fixtures this season.
