Arsenal's interest in the 2016 PFA Player of the Year has been prevalent for a while now. However, as per The Mirror, local rivals Tottenham are now interested in signing the player.

The Algerian is one of the biggest reasons for Leicester City's dream title win in 2015/16 and has been looking to move away from the Foxes for some time now. As per the report, Spurs are willing to match Arsenal and pay £30 million for the 26-year old.

Thus, a two-way battle can be expected for Mahrez in the upcoming transfer windows but there is no doubt that he will improve Arsenal if he joins them.

AC Milan's Andre Silva is Sanchez's replacement?

AC Milan v HNK Rijeka - UEFA Europa League
Andre Silva is touted as Arsenal's replacement for Alexis Sanchez

It has been known for some time now that Alexis Sanchez is highly unlikely to renew his contract and could leave the Gunners as early as January. As a result, Arsenal have been looking for a replacement since last summer with a deal for AS Monaco's Thomas Lemar proving difficult to complete.

Now, the Daily Star reports that AC Milan's Andre Silva is a strong candidate for replacing the Chilean. The Portuguese cost the Italian side £35 million and has scored six goals so far. The report states that failing to qualify for next season's Champions League could see the sale of the striker to raise funds.

In such a scenario, Arsenal would do well to land the 21-year old as a replacement for Alexis Sanchez.

Arsenal amongst several clubs interested in Ruben Vinagre

Ruben Vinagre is a target for Arsenal

The AS Monaco full-back is on loan at Championship side Wolverhampton and has caught the eyeballs of several elite clubs, including Arsenal. Vinagre has been pivotal in the Wolves' rise to the top of the Championship this season.

The Portuguese is only 18 years old and yet his performances suggest that he is ready for the big time. As a result, apart from Arsenal, Everton and Manchester City are also reported to be interested.

As Nacho Monreal's career winds down, signing Vinagre would be a great move to bolster the left flank for Arsene Wenger's side.
