Nacho Monreal says he is confident Mesut Ozil and Alexis Sanchez will not leave Arsenal during the January transfer window.
Both Sanchez and Ozil's contracts at the Emirates run out in July 2018, and Arsenal remain keen on extending the pair's current deals at the club.
Manchester City failed in a Deadline Day bid of £60m for Sanchez, but Pep Guardiola has since downplayed the possibility of his side going back in for the Chile international in January.
While Ozil, who has reportedly been the subject of interest from Manchester United, insists his focus remains on Arsenal.
When asked whether the Arsenal dressing room believes that Sanchez and Ozil will be at the club for the second half of the season, Monreal told IBTimes UK: "Yes, the feeling is that they will continue. At no time have we talked about the possibility of them leaving. Not at all. They are committed to the group and we will see what happens.
"I can't say much about it. It does not depend on me. The situation is clear. They are two vital players for Arsenal. They are two players who end their contracts at the end of the season.
"If the club want them to stay beyond December [the January transfer window] they will follow. Yet, I do not know the club's intentions. It is other people who are the ones who have to make a decision."
