Episode 450 – The teacup of tribalism

Listeners will be glad to hear that there’s some, but relatively little, discussion of last night’s 1-0 defeat to Cologne in the Europa League. There’s only so much of that game one can relive, but I chat about with Archie Rhind-Tutt. Then I’m joined by Daniel Storey from Football 365 to chat about teacup GIF-gate, the changing face of modern media and fandom, journalism and journalists, and lots more.

I also give you the winners of last week’s competition to win Jens Lehmann’s book, there’s some Amaury Bischoff PI and a chunk of the usual waffle.

Follow Archie on Twitter @archiert1 – Daniel is @danielstorey85 and if you’re looking for a book to give someone this Christmas, you could do a lot worse than his excellent Portrait of an Icon which you can buy here.
