Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger reveals that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's future will be clearer on Wednesday and admitted that Olivier Giroud could be moving to Chelsea.

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger has claimed that Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's future will be clearer on Wednesday morning and admitted that Olivier Giroud could be moving to Chelsea.

The Borussia Dortmund forward, who has fallen out of favour at the Westfalenstadion, is believed to be on the verge of a move to the Emirates Stadium.

Meanwhile, the Bundesliga side is thought to be interested in Blues forward Michy Batshuayi, who would in turn be replaced by Giroud, if media reports are to be believed.

Although Wenger did not confirm that either move relating to Arsenal was a done deal, he claimed that updates are expected to come on transfer deadline day.

"We will know about [Aubameyang] tomorrow morning," the Frenchman told Sky Sports News after the North Londoners' 3-1 defeat at Swansea City.

"It's a possibility [that Giroud will join Chelsea], but all that will be decided tomorrow morning. We will inform you once that is more definite.

"At the moment I don't want to talk too much about where he goes, if he goes. That will be definitely decided [tomorrow], nothing is concluded at the moment."

Arsenal have made one major signing this month with the arrival of Henrikh Mkhitaryan from Manchester United, who in turn recruited Chile forward Alexis Sanchez.
