Arsenal attacker Alex Iwobi says that he and his teammates are keen for Aaron Ramsey to remain at the Emirates Stadium past the end of this season.

Arsenal attacker Alex Iwobi has revealed that he and his teammates are keen for Aaron Ramsey to remain at the Emirates Stadium.

Ramsey has less than a year remaining on his Gunners contract, and reports have suggested that the North London outfit have decided to withdraw their offer of a new deal.

That currently leaves Ramsey attracting interest from a wide range of clubs in Europe, but Iwobi says that he would like to see the Wales international extend his stay at the Premier League outfit.

Iwobi told BT Sport: "He's a great player. When I was breaking into the first team, I always used to watch and learn things for him. I am still doing that today.

"It would be a great miss if he goes but hopefully he can stay. We all want him to stay. Hopefully it can get sorted."

Ramsey has still made eight appearances for Arsenal in all competitions this season.
