Tottenham Hotspur to beat Arsenal to Suso signing?

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly ready to reignite their interest in rumoured Arsenal target Suso, who has a £35m release clause inserted in his AC Milan contract.

Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly looking to pip bitter rivals Arsenal to the signing of AC Milan attacker Suso.

The 25-year-old has starred for Milan since joining from Liverpool in 2015, playing a direct part in 42 Serie A goals in the last two-and-a-half seasons.

Suso has six goals and eight assists in all competitions this campaign and has been touted as a target for Arsenal, who are expected to bring in a few new players ahead of next season.

According to The Mirror, however, North London rivals Spurs are also ready to reignite their interest in the four-cap Spain international.

The report indicates that Tottenham's interest in the versatile midfielder is likely to be stronger than Arsenal's, and they are therefore considered the favourites to land his signature.

Suso, who has a release clause of £35m, admitted earlier this season that he would like to return to the Premier League one day.
