Mesut Ozil's agent insists the player is staying at Arsenal for the remainder of his contract.

The Germany forward, who has had a difficult season under Unai Emery - in part due to injuries - sees his current Gunners deal expire in 2021.

His representative Dr Erkut Sogut believes the 30-year-old will honour the next two years because he "bleeds Arsenal red".

"Rumours will always persist, - there is no doubt about that - but one thing I can guarantee is Mesut's loyalty," he told Turkish-Football.com in a wide-ranging interview about the player's career.

"His mind is focused on Arsenal, and Arsenal only. Mesut bleeds Arsenal red, and respecting his contract is a certainty.

"He'll be staying at Arsenal until at least 2021, and the fans need not to worry about the gossip that may come this summer. He has found a place he feels welcome and believes he has a lot more to give."

Ozil has made 20 Premier League starts and four sub appearances this season and only played four times between late November and early February due to back and knee problems.

But he scored twice in a good run of form as the north London side challenged for a top-four place until their 1-1 draw at home to Brighton all-but mathematically ruled out their inclusion in next season's Champions League.

Arsenal play Burnley away from home in their final Premier League game of the season on Sunday before the Europa League final against Chelsea on May 29.
