Arsenal are reportedly offered the chance to sign wantaway Lyon forward Nabil Fekir for a cut-price fee of £30m this summer.

Arsenal have been offered the chance to sign Lyon forward Nabil Fekir for a cut-price fee of just £30m, according to a report.

The Gunners have been heavily linked with a move for Crystal Palace winger Wilfried Zaha this summer but could be forced to consider other options due to the Eagles' £80m valuation of the Ivory Coast international.

Unai Emery has been told that he only has a £45m transfer budget during the current window, meaning that he would need to raise funds by selling players if he is to land his top target.

However, The Mirror reports that Arsenal could now switch their focus to Fekir after being offered the France international for only £30m.

Fekir was on the brink of joining Liverpool last summer only for the £53m deal to collapse at the 11th hour due to concerns over an underlying knee problem discovered during the medical.

The World Cup winner now has just one year remaining on his contract at Lyon and is eager to leave the club, forcing Lyon into cashing in on him rather than risk losing him for free next year.

Arsenal remain hopeful that they can lower Palace's asking price for Zaha, while they have also been linked with a move for free agent Yacine Brahimi, but they could consider Fekir should talks over those two deals break down.
