Agent opens door for Kieran Tierney to join Arsenal from Celtic

The agent of Kieran Tierney says that Arsenal have so far fallen short with their attempt to sign the Scottish full-back from Celtic, but a move cannot be ruled out.

Kieran Tierney's agent has suggested that the full-back is interested in a move to Arsenal, but the Gunners must first match Celtic's valuation.

The Scotland international is reported to have already been the subject of one failed bid in the region of £15m.

Arsenal have been tipped to make an improved offer, though Celtic are rumoured to be holding out for £25m, potentially pricing the North London outfit out of a move.

Tierney's representative Allan Preston has left the door open for a switch to the Emirates Stadium, though, telling BBC Sport: "It is all down to Celtic.

"If they get a price that they believe is the correct value for Kieran Tierney he could possibly be on his way. No one has hit that price yet.

"He loves Celtic. But will there be a time for Kieran Tierney to go? I think that there will be.

"If it's just now it will be up to the clubs that are involved - Arsenal, Napoli or whoever – to then put the money on the table and make Celtic think about this.

"If there is a time for Kieran to go it will be up to Celtic, Peter Lawwell and the board."

Tierney has spent his entire career with Celtic and has made 170 appearances for the Scottish champions.
