Alexandre Lacazette to return to Arsenal training next week?

Alexandre Lacazette is reportedly in line to return to training with Arsenal as the forward steps up his recovery from an ankle injury.

Alexandre Lacazette is allegedly ready to return to Arsenal training after recovering from an ankle injury.

Having sustained the issue earlier in the summer, Lacazette has been absent for the North London outfit's last seven matches in all competitions.

However, according to Metro, the France international is ready to step up his bid to be fit in time for after the international break.

The report claims that the 28-year-old is on the brink of joining the rest of the group ahead of a busy run of fixtures for the Gunners.

Arsenal are not back in action until October 21 when they face Sheffield United, with games against Vitoria de Guimaraes, Crystal Palace and Liverpool to come before the end of the month.
