Arsenal are in a three-way battle with Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain for Lyon's Houssem Aouar, according to a report.

Arsenal will reportedly have to fight off competition from both Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus in order to sign Houssem Aouar from Lyon next year.

The Gunners were strongly linked with the France international during the summer transfer window but were unable to come to an agreement with Lyon over a transfer fee.

Aouar ultimately remained with his French club, but the speculation surrounding his future is again gathering pace, with a recent report claiming that Mikel Arteta's side could make a January move.

According to Tuttosport, the London giants are planning another swoop for the midfielder, but Juve and PSG are also firmly in the hunt for his services.

The report claims that the Italian champions believe that they are in a strong position when it comes to negotiations due to their close relationship with the Ligue 1 side.

Aouar has scored once in five league appearances for Les Gones this season.
