Bukayo Saka marked his 20th birthday with a goal and an assist as England beat Andorra in their World Cup qualifier on Sunday. Having already set up Jesse Lingard’s second goal, he headed home from close range with five minutes remaining to wrap up the scoring at Wembley Stadium. Three days earlier, Saka came on in the 88th minute as the Three Lions beat Hungary 4-0 in Budapest.
Sambi Lokonga made his senior debut for Belgium, as he came on as a 74th minute substitute as they beat Estonia 5-2 in World Cup qualifying. Our young midfielder replaced Eden Hazard and made an instant impression for the Red Devils.
Martin Odegaard captained Norway and played a starring role as they beat Latvia 2-0 in World Cup qualifying, creating a host of chances for his team-mates. Three days earlier, our playmaker featured as his national team drew 1-1 with the Netherlands at the Ullevaal Stadion.
Bernd Leno played the full 90 minutes and kept a clean sheet for Germany as they beat Liechtenstein in World Cup qualifying. Goals from Timo Werner and Leroy Sane sealed the win.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang captained Gabon in their two World Cup qualifiers, as they were beaten by Libya before claiming a 1-1 draw against Egypt.
Alex Runarsson featured twice for Iceland as they lost 2-0 at home to Romania, before claiming a 2-2 draw with North Macedonia.
Kieran Tierney was in action twice for Scotland in World Cup qualifying, as they were beaten 2-0 on the road in Denmark, before claiming a 1-0 win against Lodova at Hampden Park. KT played the full 90 minutes in both games.
Sead Kolasinac played 54 minutes of Bosnia & Herzegovina's 1-1 draw in France as part of World Cup qualifying.
