Alexandre Lacazette is not likely to sign a new contract with Arsenal, according to a report.

French forward Alexandre Lacazette is reportedly unlikely to pen a new contract at Arsenal.

The 30-year-old has scored 66 goals and registered 28 assists in 172 appearances for the Gunners since making the move from Lyon in 2017.

Lacazette is already off the mark in terms of goals this season, scoring against West Bromwich Albion in the EFL Cup, but he has only played 31 minutes of Premier League football in 2021-22.

The striker did not leave the Emirates Stadium over the summer despite a host of speculation, but his contract with Mikel Arteta's side is due to expire next June.

According to le10sport, Lacazette is not expected to sign a new deal with Arsenal, meaning that he could either be sold in January or leave on a free transfer next summer.

Atletico Madrid continue to be credited with an interest in the Frenchman, who netted 129 times in 275 appearances for Lyon before arriving in the English capital.
