Premier League final day predictions including Leicester vs. West Ham

Sports Mole provides score predictions and previews for all of today's Premier League fixtures, including Leicester vs. West Ham.

Arsenal vs. Wolves (Sunday, 4.30pm)

Arsenal bring the curtain down on a memorable Premier League campaign when they welcome Wolverhampton Wanderers to the Emirates Stadium on Sunday afternoon.

Neither side will be playing for anything but pride on the North London soil, with the Gunners firmly entrenched in second place in the table and Wolves only capable of bettering their position in the bottom half.

We say: Arsenal 1-0 Wolverhampton Wanderers

With Wolves lacking attacking inspiration all season long and Arsenal looking devoid of ideas when Saliba and Zinchenko are missing, expect a low-key final-day battle between two sides who are already looking ahead to next season.

A solitary goal may settle this dead rubber, and given Wolves' repeated failings on the road, it should go the way of Arsenal, as Arteta's side end a troubled springtime run with a flourish.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.

Aston Villa vs. Brighton (Sunday, 4.30pm)

Two of the Premier League's overachievers in the 2022-23 season meet in the West Midlands for Sunday's final-day showdown, as Aston Villa play host to Brighton & Hove Albion.

The Lions are in the driving seat for Europa Conference League football with one game to go, while Roberto De Zerbi's side have assured themselves of a place in the 2023-24 Europa League.

We say: Aston Villa 2-1 Brighton & Hove Albion

While Brighton should not be in any charitable mood towards Villa, the Seagulls will be battling jellied legs from midweek and may take their foot off the gas with Europa League qualification in the bag.

De Zerbi's side are far from predictable on the road as well, but Villa have been near-flawless at home over the past several weeks, and we have faith in Emery's side to come up trumps and mark a phenomenal ascent up the table with Europa Conference League qualification.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Brentford vs. Man City (Sunday, 4.30pm)

Manchester City's Premier League coronation parade continues in the English capital on Sunday afternoon, as the champions meet Brentford at the Gtech Community Stadium to close out the season.

Pep Guardiola's side were held to a 1-1 draw by Brighton & Hove Albion in midweek, while Thomas Frank's men most recently came from a goal down to sink Tottenham Hotspur 3-1.

We say: Brentford 1-1 Manchester City

Only a few days after a taxing trip to the South Coast, matters do not get any easier for Man City at Brentford's headquarters, where the Bees have rarely been outclassed over the past several months.

In contrast to the champions, the hosts still have their own European qualification to fight for and can feel confident of taking something from this final-day affair, but only one point rather than the desired three could come the way of Frank's side as they just miss out on a continental berth.

Our tipster partners are predicting under 3.5 goals.

Chelsea vs. Newcastle (Sunday, 4.30pm)

Chelsea will be looking to end what has been a disastrous Premier League campaign on a positive note when they welcome Newcastle United to Stamford Bridge on Sunday afternoon.

The Blues currently sit 12th in the table but could finish as low as 14th, while Newcastle have secured a top-four spot ahead of the final matchday, with the Magpies currently in fourth position, two points behind third-placed Manchester United.

We say: Chelsea 1-1 Newcastle United

Chelsea played well for spells of their game with Man United on Thursday, but poor defending and finishing cost them the chance to pick up a positive result. Newcastle will not be at full strength on Sunday, and we are backing Chelsea to end their campaign with a draw against the top-four outfit.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Crystal Palace vs. Nott'm Forest (Sunday, 4.30pm)

Two of the Premier League's most in-form sides meet on the final weekend, when Crystal Palace welcome Nottingham Forest to Selhurst Park on Sunday.

Due to the upturn in form shown by both sides, this match has become a dead rubber following Forest's win against Arsenal last weekend which secured their survival.

We say: Crystal Palace 3-0 Nottingham Forest

Palace have been scintillating under Hodgson, with Eze and Michael Olise taking centre stage with some fine performances.

After the high of sealing Premier League survival last weekend, Forest may still be in party mode and their poor away form could very well continue.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Everton vs. Bournemouth (Sunday, 4.30pm)

Everton welcome Bournemouth to Goodison Park on the final day of the Premier League season on Sunday, knowing a win will keep the Toffees in the top flight for next season.

With Leeds United and Leicester City both failing to win last weekend, Everton will begin the day outside the drop zone, as two of the three will be relegated alongside Southampton.

We say: Everton 1-1 Bournemouth

There have been 49 goals scored in the 13 head-to-head clashes between these two sides, but with what is on the line, this should be a very different kind of game.

With Everton's current striking woes and a run of form which has seen them win just two of their last 14 games, the Toffees may need some help from elsewhere to ensure their top-flight status.

Our tipster partners are predicting a home win.

Leeds vs. Spurs (Sunday, 4.30pm)

A pivotal final-day Premier League showdown takes place in front of the raucous Elland Road faithful on Sunday afternoon, as Leeds United host Tottenham Hotspur.

The Whites simply need to win and hope for results elsewhere to go in their favour to save their top-flight bacon, while Ryan Mason's side are in a three-horse race with Aston Villa and Brentford for a spot in the Europa Conference League.

We say: Leeds United 2-2 Tottenham Hotspur

Had Leeds come into Sunday's game with a clean bill of health, we would not have put it past the Whites to pull off a final-day miracle, but lingering concerns over Bamford and Rodrigo coupled with their existing injuries could prove to be their downfall.

Spurs are no tough nut to crack themselves, though, and Allardyce's side should breach the Lilywhites' lacklustre backline a couple of times, but Mason's wealth of attacking options can strike back to condemn their hosts to the drop and give themselves a fighting chance of Conference League qualification.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Leicester vs. West Ham (Sunday, 4.30pm)

Even victory is not certain to save them, so Leicester City face a win-or-bust scenario on the Premier League's final day, when they host West Ham United at the King Power Stadium.

The 2016 champions will be demoted should they fail to take maximum points on Sunday - and results elsewhere could condemn still them to the drop anyway. The Hammers, meanwhile, may have one eye on an upcoming European final.

We say: Leicester City 2-2 West Ham United

Relaxed and in their best form of the season, West Ham can take a carefree approach to Sunday's game - and competition for places ahead of a major final should serve as sufficient motivation. Leicester's defensive deficiencies have never really been resolved, so they will come up short in their quest to survive the drop.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Man Utd vs. Fulham (Sunday, 4.30pm)

Manchester United's Casemiro celebrates scoring against Chelsea on May 25, 2023© Reuters

Manchester United will be looking to secure third position in the Premier League table when they welcome Fulham to Old Trafford on the final matchday of the 2022-23 campaign.

The Red Devils booked their spot in next season's Champions League with an impressive 4-1 success over Chelsea on Thursday evening, while Fulham, who occupy 10th position in the division, will enter the match off the back of a 2-2 draw with London rivals Crystal Palace last weekend.

We say: Manchester United 2-1 Fulham

Neither side is under major pressure in this match, but Man United need to win to guarantee third position in the table, and Ten Hag will want to enter the FA Cup final off the back of a strong result; we are expecting a close match on Sunday but believe that the Red Devils will ultimately secure all three points.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.

Southampton vs. Liverpool (Sunday, 4.30pm)

Having seen the dying embers of their top-four hopes extinguished once and for all on Thursday night, Liverpool visit already-relegated Southampton at St Mary's with both sides having only pride to fight for on the final day of the 2022-23 Premier League season.

The final positions of both teams have already been confirmed, with Liverpool guaranteed to finish in fifth place and Southampton condemned to rock-bottom following a dismal campaign.

We say: Southampton 0-2 Liverpool

Final-day dead-rubbers are always difficult ones to call, but it is impossible to back Southampton in this match given their form over the last couple of months.

At home in particular they have been dreadful, winning the fewest games and scoring the joint-fewest goals, while also losing the most games and conceding the joint-most, so there is little reason to suggest that they might give the St Mary's supporters something to shout about on the final day.

Liverpool will need to motivate themselves after the disappointment of seeing their top-four hopes mathematically ended just a few days earlier, but we are backing their superior quality to shine through on what might otherwise be a fairly unspectacular occasion.

Our tipster partners are predicting over 2.5 goals.
