Chelsea Arsenal: Antonio Conte says he did not fear for job after Emirates thrashing

Chelsea won the Premier League title by eight points last season in Conte’s first season at the helm. However, the Blues’ charge to the prize came after a stuttering start under the Italian. Chelsea fell to a 3-0 defeat to Arsenal last season, with Alexis Sanchez, Theo Walcott and Mesut Ozil putting the west London side to the sword. It was a result that put them eight points behind Manchester City after six games and led to talk that Conte, who had only just been appointed, was in line for the sack.
