Wilshere made his first appearance of the season in last week’s 3-1 Champions League win over Cologne, coming on as a second half substitute. But he wasn’t included in the match day squad to face Chelsea on Sunday, with Ainsley Maitland-Niles preferred as an option from the bench. The 25-year-old is out of contract at the end of the season and his future at the Emirates looks likely to be coming to an end.
