Arsenal expect to complete SIGNING of 'new Lionel Messi' after club chief's trip
DEAL CLOSE: Arsene Wenger's Arsenal should wrap up the signing of Maxi Romero after resolving ownership issues [GETTY] The Gunners have been tracking the 16-year-old striker in recent months and the Daily Mirror report that the club believe a £4.5m deal is all but done. Chief negotiator Dick Law last week travelled to Argentina to meet with Romero's club Velez Sarsfield. Law was tasked with sorting out ownership issues - his club and agent both have a share - and his trip appears to have been a success. Romero is now expected to put pen-to-paper on a deal to join Arsenal. As part of the deal, he will remain with Velez Sarsfield for the next two years to aid his development. The...
