On this day in History [13 April]: Arsenal hammered Blackburn 4-1 on the way to clinching the domestic double

On 13 April 1998, a rampant Arsenal ran out 4-1 winners over Blackburn Rovers at Ewood Park in the Premier League as they cruised to win the much coveted domestic double. The Gunners hit the ground running from the first whistle and their ruthlessness was made evident when they scored three quick goals in 15 minutes. Dennis Bergkamp fired them into the lead just two minutes into the match before Ray Parlour netted a brace in the 7th and 14th minute respectively. Arsene Wenger’s side wrapped up the win with some vintage counter attacking football finished off by Nicolas Anelka.
