Arsenal starlet finally cleared to play for the club FIVE years after joining

Wellington Silva has finally been given permission to make his Arsenal debut next season after receiving a Spanish passport. The Brazilian joined Arsenal in January 2010, however he has spent five years at various Spanish clubs in a bid to earn citizenship and a work permit to play in England. Those loan spells have now paid off after the 22-year-old tweeted a picture of his Spanish passport on Tuesday. "A good thing is slow in coming, but it has arrived with the greatest satisfaction in the world. Spanish nationality!" Wellington wrote on his Twitter page. The forward is currently on loan at Almeria this season, where he has made 14 La Liga appearances.
