Manchester United are believed to be considering a bid of up to £35m for Arsenal midfielder Mesut Ozil in a potential January move for the German. Ozil, who is in the final year of his current deal with Arsene Wenger's side, is yet to sign a new contract at the Emirates and The Mirror says that Mourinho has been given the go-ahead to table an offer for the 29-year-old. The newspaper also says that the United boss has been granted £80m to spend this month, and would be prepared to negotiate with the Gunners should they wish to cash in.
