Liverpool 'drop interest in Monaco star Thomas Lemar'

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has reportedly ended his pursuit of Thomas Lemar after being asked to hand over £90m for the Monaco attacker. Lemar is a rumoured long-term target for both the Reds and Premier League rivals Arsenal, who were prepared to hand over the same amount during the summer window. Arsenal were forced to admit defeat in their attempt to lure the France international to North London, though, as he was unwilling to spend a season playing Europa League football.
