Diaby's career has been beset with injuries which has seen him make just 22 appearances in four seasons for the Gunners. The Frenchman, whose contract ends in June, is attempting another comeback and has played for Arsenal's under-21s in recent weeks to build his fitness. According to the Telegraph, Diaby endeavours have prompted Wenger to consider offering the 28-year-old a pay-as-you-play deal, if he is able to prove he can stay fit.
