Chelsea crashed out of the Carabao Cup on Wednesday night after they were defeated 2-1 by Arsenal. It was a lively opening by the visitors at The Emirates stadium with Pedro correctly having a header ruled out for offside. There was no mistake soon after as Eden Hazard raced onto the Spaniard’s through ball to finish past Ospina and give the Blues the lead on the night and on aggregate. However, Arsenal grew into the game and equalised when Nacho Monreal’s header rebounded off first Marcos Alonso and then Antonio Rudiger to fall into the net.
