Report: Borussia Dortmund give up on signing Olivier Giroud

Borussia Dortmund have reportedly given up hope of signing Olivier Giroud from Arsenal as the striker is instead weighing up other offers. The 31-year-old was expected to be used by the Gunners as a makeweight in a deal to bring Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang to the Emirates Stadium. Following separate reports that BVB are about to abandon talks with Arsenal regarding the proposed sale of Aubameyang, the Daily Mail suggests that the Bundesliga side's pursuit of Giroud is now also over.
