Arsenal have already acquired Henrikh Mkhitaryan as part of the deal with Manchester United that saw Alexis Sanchez move in the opposite direction. But Aubameyang is seen as a more direct replacement for the Chile international and the Gunners have been pushing this week to make a deal happen. Arsenal chief executive Ivan Gazidis travelled to Dortmund this week to lead the negotiations. However, talks have stalled over the price of the Gabon international. The Gunners had a second bid turned down believed to be worth around £50million while Dortmund want closer to £60m.
