Dortmund and Arsenal have been in transfer talks since last weekend with chief executive Ivan Gazidis, chief scout Sven Mislintat and contract negotiator Huss Fahmy leading negotiations. But the two clubs are so far been unable to agree on a fee which has left the German side frustrated. Dortmund are understood to want £61.5m for the 28-year-old which Arsenal are reluctant to meet. And despite the uncertainty, Dortmund boss Peter Stoger has restored his leading scorer to the starting line-up.
