Jonny Evans moving to Arsenal would make sense, claims Shaka Hislop
Evans has been linked with a move to Arsenal and runaway Premier League leaders Manchester City. However, with City set to sign Athletic Bilbao centre back Aymeric Laporte, the Gunners seemingly have a free run to sign the Northern Ireland international. West Brom boss Alan Pardew yesterday rubbished reports Arsenal had offered £10million plus Mathieu Debuchy for Evans, saying they had not even made contact about the player.
