Mathieu Debuchy has joined Saint-Etienne on a deal until the end of the season, it has been announced. Debuchy had his contract at The Emirates terminated, meaning he joins the French club on a free transfer. Speaking to the club's official website, he said: "I am very happy and proud to join AS Saint-Etienne.  "I had good discussions with coach Jean-Louis Gasset and I felt that he really wanted me and our exchanges convinced me to come here.  "I want to have fun on the field and help the team of Saint-Etienne to find a better place in the ranking."
