Pep Guardiola says that Arsene Wenger turned down the chance to sign him for Arsenal because 'there was no space' in his squad. Guardiola joined the ever-increasing ranks of players who almost signed for Wenger when the Frenchman claimed earlier this month that he spoke to the former midfielder during his playing career. Manchester City manager Guardiola corroborated the story, saying he visited Wenger's home in an attempt to secure the move.
