On 6th March 2012, Arsenal and AC Milan contested the 2nd leg of a Champions League tie at the Emirates Stadium for a place in the quarter-final. Six years – almost to the day – later and the two meet again but this time the quarter-final spot on offer is considerably less prestigious.
