GETTY Maycon is reportedly wanted by Arsenal. The Corinthians midfielder has been on Arsenal’s radar for a number of years ever since breaking into the first team. Shakhtar Donetsk came close to signing Maycon in January but the move fell through at the final hour. But his Brazilian cub expect him to depart for Europe in the summer and Arsenal are in prime position to complete the deal. That is according to Brazilian publication UOL, who claim that Corinthians were willing to accept a £9million bid in January as long as the player was loaned back to them.
