Aaron Ramsey contract bombshell: Arsenal star gives worrying update
Ramsey’s current deal ends in the summer of 2019 and initial talks have not led to a breakthrough. Last month Mesut Ozil signed a new contract which made him the highest paid player in the club’s history on £350,000 a week. Along with the likes of Jack Wilshere, Danny Welbeck and Nacho Monreal, Ramsey is likely to demand a significant pay rise. And when asked about the status of his contract situation, Ramsey revealed talks are at an impasse. He told BT Sport: ”Nothing to comment on at the moment, I think they've been busy to tie up other contracts at the moment." GETTY
