Arsenal legend Patrick Vieira ‘would die for the chance of managing Arsenal’, his friend and former Gunners team-mate Ray Parlour has told talkSPORT. The ‘Invincibles’ captain has been linked with a stunning return to the north London club as a replacement for Arsene Wenger. The 68-year-old Frenchman is approaching the end of his 22-year-old reign at the Emirates Stadium, and Vieira is said to be one of the leading candidates for the role.
