Former Brazil international Edu joined Arsenal from Corinthians in 2001, and the midfielder went on to make 79 Premier League appearances for the Gunners. He was a part of the team that managed to go through the entire 2003-04 Premier League campaign unbeaten, and actually appeared in 30 of the club's 38 league fixtures that term.
