Arsene Wenger 'turns down Saint-Etienne job'

Outgoing Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has reportedly turned down the chance to take over at French club Saint-Etienne. Wenger oversaw the final game of his 22-year Arsenal reign on Sunday as the Gunners beat Huddersfield Town 1-0, with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang scoring the last goal of the Frenchman's tenure. However, Wenger recently revealed that he has received a number of job offers, and Le Sport reports that Saint-Etienne are among the clubs interested. Saint-Etienne endured a turbulent season on the managerial front, initially replacing Oscar Garcia with former player Julien Sable, only to discover that he did not have the relevant qualifications.
