It has been reported that USA U20 head coach Tab Ramos has confirmed that he is waiting for the go-ahead from FIFA to include Arsenal starlet Gedion Zelalem in his squad for the U20 FIFA World Cup. Only 20 of the 21 squad members were announced on Thursday morning as one spot was left vacant for the 18-year old midfielder. US Soccer is still in the process of providing FIFA the necessary documentation to make the German-born player, who is of Ethiopian descent, eligible to play for the United States.
