Arsenal are set to benefit financially this summer should Barcelona win the Champions League with the Catalan club expected to pay the remaining £2.8m transfer fee following Thomas Vermaelen's move, the Daily Express reports. Vermaelen joined the Champions League finalists in August in a deal worth £15m (via BBC Sport), but as ever with Barcelona, the club agreed a deal which involved performance related bonuses.
