It has been reported that former Arsenal striker Alan Smith feels they're on the brink of creating a title-winning team. Smith wrote in the Telegraph: ' There is a strong feeling from some within the club, some previously pessimistic, that Arsenal are now not too far away from becoming genuine title challengers; closer certainly than they have been for a while thanks to a formidable depth of talent and a slight change in tack when it comes to tactically preparing for matches.
