Arsenal sent top scout Brian McDermott to France to watch Lyon’s highly-rated strike duo Alexandre Lacazette and Nabil Fekir in action over the weekend, according to reports from Metro. The pair have been earning much praise in recent months, with their fantastic showings up top for the Stade Gerland side having kept a shock Ligue 1 title challenge going – albeit they have now lost out to PSG. Lacazette has notched 27 goals, while Fekir, who operates in a slightly more reserved role, has a return of 13 in league action, and Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger is believed to have been impressed.
