Arsenal handed huge boost in race for Ligue 1 striker

Arsenal appear to be leading the race for Lyon striker Alexandre Lacazette, according to the Metro. The France international has been heavily linked with a move away from Ligue 1 this summer after netting 27 goals in 31 appearances this term. But despite French giants Paris Saint-Germain reportedly being the latest to show an interest in the forward, Lyon president Jean-Michel Aulas appears to have opened the door for Arsenal to complete a deal.
