The 2019-20 Premier League campaign has at last been given a date from which to resume. The competition, suspended in March due to the coronavirus pandemic, will return from June 17 and, all being well, be played to its conclusion. The disruption came with Liverpool just two wins away from a first league title in 30 years, while Manchester United had been improving in pursuit of Champions League qualification.
