Ralph Hasenhuttl deserves his new contract and will manage one of the top clubs one day. What Southampton have done sticking by him is a message to every single club out there not to panic when the going gets tough. He was a dead man walking when they lost 9-0 to Leicester. They were a shambles. He even said so himself. To me it looked like he had lost the dressing room, and there is usually no way back after that. No-one would have said a word if Saints had sacked him.
