Morning all. Still no real transfer news, but plenty of speculation. There always is this time of the year. The only difference is that this weekend would ordinarily be the beginning of a new Premier League season and the transfer window would now be shut. It’s not. Football is still being played though, not for Chelsea now, not after their thumping in Germany. I was desperate for Bayern to score a few more goals, just so Arsenal weren’t the only club to get battered by the German club 10-2 on aggregate in the Champions League.
