Emiliano Martinez has acknowledged that he has no desire to remain as backup goalkeeper at Arsenal. After Bernd Leno sustained a season-ending knee injury in June, Martinez made 12 successive appearances in all competitions, a run of games which saw the Gunners win the FA Cup. While first-choice Leno is due to return at the start of next season, Martinez has insisted that he is not prepared to return to the substitutes' bench.
