Mikel Arteta suggests Arsenal are on five-year plan to emulate Liverpool

Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta seemingly has a five-year plan in mind to bring the glory days back to the club. Arteta took charge of the north Londoners last December following the dismissal of his fellow countryman Unai Emery a month earlier. The Gunners have shown tangible improvement under the Spaniard, whose appointment was initially questioned by many. Arteta - who guided his side to FA Cup glory in August - has moulded Arsenal into a more fluid attacking team, although there are still some evident defensive frailties.
